Laptop computers are not only convenient, powerful, and easy to use, but they are also cost effective and available in several colors.  Some of the cheapest laptop computers are comparable to the most expensive if you shopcarefully.  Why spend more money on an expensive mode when you can get the same power and speed in a less expensive laptop.
