Civilizaton PC Game

I feel, Civilization 3 was one of the best pc games ever devised. Apart from Civ 3, the video games that I used to play periodically were Rise of Nations, Bridge Too Far, and Command & Conquer In comparison to these strategy games, the one attribute I didn’t like about Civilization 3 was that it was a turn-based game. As such, gamers who want a multiplayer game experience are out of luck. One of the best ways to have fun is by playing multiplayer games as opposed to single player games against Artificial Intelligence.

Among the Civilizations that I played most often in Civilization 3 were the Chinese, the Greeks, and the Americans. The above 3 were most often civilizations, and I never played random, I always picked one of the 3 civilizations to play. Civilization 3 game itself is easy, and most people should pick up the game quite fast. The turn-based system can get tedious after some, especially if you have a lot of players or a large map to play. On slow PCs, the game would take quite long to load. The starting stages of the game are the most important part of Civilization 3, you don’t want to make any mistakes here. Even though the first part is pretty boring, at least for me, things get better once you get to middle ages.

If I wanted to expand my borders without resorting to wars, maximizing my cultural influence was one way to do it.If your citizens are unhappy, it is highly likely that they would switch places if they are in border areas. If you compare Civilization 3 battles with those of other strategy games like Starcraft, or Medieval Wars there is no comparison, but Civilization 3 has a unique charm of its own. Tanks are one of my favorite units in civilization 3.

Since Civilization 3, you had expansions like Play of the World and Conquests. A recent version of Civilization 3 called Civilization 4 was introduced and it had expansion packs of its own. Because I was in college at the time, I never played the game, and in college I had little time for anything. Now, I am hearing rumors of Civ 5.
