Private Outer Space Adventures
Last June 11, 2008 the sole company that offers space missions to human named Space Adventures has announced that an arrangement has been finalized together with its long-term partner Russia’s space agency. The two have agreed to launch the very first private mission to the space station. It is due to take place during the second half of 2011.
The concept for the very first flight is actually from scientific standpoint. It will be dedicated to the Soyuz-TMA spacecraft wherein there will be two seats made available for private explorers. This will provide an opportunity to many of us who are interested to travel outside the planet.
According to the company, they are inclined to offer the private explorers with a comprehensive package. The mission services will include program options in the field of Science, Media, and Education. It is being offered to private individuals as well as to a larger population coming from various enterprises, institutions, organizations, and businesses.
Once in a Lifetime
Most of us have wondered for over a period of centuries what really lies beyond the boundaries of the planet Earth. Given the chance, I for one will not hesitate to volunteer and become a part of this very ambitious project. This will prove to be an opportunity that may come only once in our lifetime. I will definitely drop everything off just to be a part of an outer space exploration.
I wonder what it will be like to see the earth and walk without the pull of gravity. Truly this mission will solve all the queries we have asked for years and will shed light on a number of gray areas. Indeed, this will be a chance of a lifetime. No one in his right mind would refuse this kind of occasion. Upon exploration of the space whose boundaries are unknown, there truly are no limits in possibilities.
If this private space missions will prove to be successful then its expansion to include private citizens in an outer space exploration will really be a very good opportunity for one’s growth and learning.
