Solar System’s Origin
May 12th, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
There are several theories about the origin of the solar system and how it came to be. Each offers an explanation on the phenomenon. Among these premises is the Tidal Theory by T.C. Chamberlin and F.R. Moulton. It suggests that a star passed by too close to the sun which caused the collision between the two. Dust and debris were presumed to have been the reason for the formation of strings of dust coming from the eruption of huge tides. Later on the erupted matters were torn free and grew bigger through the absorption of smaller masses. Planets of varying sizes emerged and were thrust to the elliptical orbit of the sun. Thus, the solar system came to be.

This is a very interesting theory. I am more inclined to the Big Bang Theory though.

Origin theories could be as vast as the solar system itself yet man doesn’t cease to find the truth.

Hopefully they will reach that goal to find the truth.
